If this guy was doing synthetic extensions as long as I have, and received training from Antenna/Dome way back in 86.. I would know him.
Flattered or angry? Not sure yet.

edit: I know that FAQ's are often copied and whatnot, but most of this is from my own brain.

I sort of forgot about this journal. Haven't updated it in a long long time being that it isn't linked to my site anymore.
But here are a few pics of some hair that I did, including myself and a new color.

Back in 1985 I bought a book called "Wild Style". I was 19 at the time and this book changed my life, basically.
This is where I first heard about hair extensions.
This chick Lara in NYC, is absolutely STUNNING is in this book and I aspired to be her.
It was at a shop in NYC called Girl Loves Boy on Thompson street that it started in NYC.
Later down the road I ended up working at a shop owned by the partner of the initial Thompson St. shop. Funny how things happen.
I also ended up being the stylist to the guy on the left with the big hair. Tommy Gunn. He used to promote rock shows at the Cat Club back when rock was huge (late 80's early 90s)

I scanned the two pages that brought me to my knees way back when.

I couldn't last as usual. Made it a week this time, which is a record.
I always think I'll like the dreads. And I do.
But then I get tired of them really fast.
Bonded wefts in blonde and light brown here I come!
I might used some Fuchsia on some of the blonde, we'll see.
I haven't had pink hair in a while.

Ordering hair from China soon and need input.
Not sure if anyone who reads this will be interested, but just in case.

I'll probably be placing an order for dreads, clip-on dreads and possibly falls.
Any color combinations are available in twist/fade dreads as well as with the clip ons and falls.

Prices will most likely be $8.00 for a package of 10 dreads, $10 for clip ons. Not sure about the falls just yet, they are attached with a black band, so I would consider just getting a black or black base with those.

MUCH easier.. I will rave forever about how easy
it is to set up Coppermine Photo Gallery.
This will simplify things immensely.
And there is even an album that anyone can add pics to.

I scattered very small pieces of synth hair in two colors throughout Vicki's hair today.
Turned out GREAT.
Her hair is very fine and was in need of some plumping.
